My Limits, Redefined” — The 55th National Skills Competition Grandly Opens, Snap-on Joins Hands with Industry Partners to Shape a New Era of Skills

The 55th National Skills Competition was grandly held from July 17 to 19, 2025, at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei. With the theme “My Limits, Redefined”, the competition gathered over 1,200 young competitors, showcasing the expertise and limitless potential of Taiwan’s skilled talents.

The opening ceremony was officiated by Premier Cho Jung-tai and Minister of Labor Hsu Shen-hsing, highlighting the government’s high regard for skills education. Organized in accordance with “Asian Skills Competition standards”, this year’s event covered 56 trades in the Youth Group and 13 trades in the Junior Group, marking a record scale.

Beyond the intense competitions, the venue also featured a variety of interactive experience zones, including 3D printing, drone soccer, electric vehicle maintenance, metal welding, and fragrance blending, allowing the public to immerse themselves in the innovative applications of technical skills—bringing skills education closer to daily life and industry needs.
